ICE says 500 arrested in Southwest Florida immigration enforcement operation
Federal, state and local law enforcement agencies arrested 500 illegal immigrants during a four-day immigration enforcement operation in Southwest Florida. The operation included the Lee County Sheriff’s Office under Sheriff Carmine Marceno, working alongside ICE, Florida Highway Patrol, the Florida National Guard, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and other agencies as part of a coordinated immigration enforcement effort.
